VI. Halle American Studies Seminar
"Perspectives on American Identity"

May 17–19, 2007
Through lectures and workshops, participants will be introduced to issues connected with the ongoing debate about the American national identity and will discuss the values and experiences contributing to an American identity.
Participants The seminar is open to graduate-level students of American Studies, History, and Cultural Studies. Students from the universities of Halle, Leipzig, and Jena may receive credit (Teilnahmeschein, Leistungsschein).

Costs A registration fee of € 40 covers room and board. Accommodation will be provided at the LEUCOREA Foundation. Participants are expected to defray the costs of their own travel expenses.
